Arctic and Antarctic are two polar regions of the planet in terms of geography. However, the similarity of their biospheres is in fragility, vulnerability, and in their immediate response to the climate change. Global warming has long been the focus of attention not only for scientists, but also for politicians, economists, and public figures. What global challenges have the two most mysterious poles in store for us? Can science become an effective instrument of international interaction in order to cope with them?
