Main goal: Establish the basis for an integrated value chain for deep sea minerals with far smaller environmental footprint than current mining operations.
We will:
- Develop and pilot key technologies, methods and concepts that demonstrate solutions along the entire value chain for a responsible and sustainable exploration and exploitation of deep sea minerals.
- Accelerate the acquisition of knowledge of deep sea resources and the environment and answer questions related to establishing an industry that can supply critical materials
