The climate is changing rapidly, particularly in the northern regions. We conduct research on the effects of these climate changes on various species and their ecosystem interactions, including impacts on productivity, the establishment and consequences of introduced species, food web structure, and effects on harvestable resources. Since climate change can have major consequences and interact with other ecosystem change processes, climate impacts are typically an integral part of our research projects concerning the effects of human activity.
