ÅRSAK
- Project duration
- November 2024 – March 2026
Main objective
Map causes for rejections of site applications, identify areas where there is a need for a better knowledge base and provide recommendations on topics for future R&D projects, in order to ensure more predictable and uniform management throughout the country.
Sub-objectives
- Categorize and systematize causes for rejections of site applications (Work Package 2).
- In-depth analysis of the knowledge base in cases where rejections are issued due to uncertainty, lack of knowledge and application of the precautionary principle (Work Package 3).
- Identify and prioritize R&D tasks to improve the knowledge base for use in the processing of applications for aquaculture sites (Work Package 4).
- Disseminate the project results to the aquaculture industry, relevant management authorities and other stakeholders (Work Package 5).
