Akvaplan-niva is a partner to Longyearbyen Science and Education Forum (LySEF)

​LySEF is a forum for the coordination of different scientific institutions and research activities in Longyearbyen. Last week Akvaplan-niva was part of a LySEF held an event in Longyarbyen including visits to the Kjell Henriksen Observatory (KHO) and the EISCAT radar as well as a guided trip to other industrial sites and research stations in the area.
